Overall Responsibility:

The HERO administrative assistant will work to provide administrative support to the GDOT HERO program on site.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  1.  Manage inventory of deliveries, mail, equipment, uniforms, boots, and other supplies.
  2. Manage HERO headquarters (front desk, conference room scheduling, greet visitors etc.
  3. Manage office supplies, inventory, and equipment (copier, printer, general supplies).
  4. Respond to emails and handle administrative work for all HERO management.
  5. File requests for HERO and follow up as needed.
  6. Answer phone, dispatch to managers, and take messages.
  7. Handle HERO school visit requests.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Proficiencies, Skills, and Certifications:

  • Must have experience with the H.E.R.O. or other similar service patrol or first responder community or office administrative experience.
