A Survey Party Chief 2 leads the survey crew to accomplish the successful completion of each survey job through proper direction and time management. Must be a self-motivated individual that works well in a team-oriented environment.

1. Exhibits proficient leadership through mentoring and solid decision making.
2. Proficient understanding of Boundary resolution and associated research.
3. Proficient understanding of Topographic Mapping.
4. Proficient Route Surveying knowledge.
5. Proficient in construction layout and/or right of way & easement layout.
6. Proficient construction plan and/or right of way & easement plan reading and interpretation.
7. Proficient in all related surveying instruments, data collectors and other peripheral surveying tools.
8. Proficient client skills understanding that everyone we meet may be a potential client.
9. Proficient communications and relationship building skills.
10. When required, work overtime, third shifts and out of town projecting a high level of flexibility.
11. Present yourselves as professionals at all times.
12. Complete understanding and regular/daily assistance with implementation of SEI surveying policies and procedures.
13. Complete understanding and regular/daily assistance with implementation of SEI safety policies and procedures.
14. Error free data, eliminating the need to “Go back”.
15. Proficient field sketches and notes.
16. Demonstrated ability to consistently train and mentor subordinate crew members in correct SEI policy and procedures.
17. Ensure/Report unsafe work conditions.
18. Correct/report problems and/or violations of SEI policy and procedures.
19. Ensure time each day has been accurately recorded for all crew members.
20. Additional duties as assigned.

Valid Georgia Driver's License with a good driving record, ability to pass a Security Background check, Excellent knowledge of various survey procedures.   Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to eliminate "roadblocks"
