A Survey Tech 1 supports the Project Manager through efficient project production.  Must be self-motivated individual that works well in a team-oriented environment.  

1. Basic understanding of Boundary/Right of Way resolution and all associated research.
2. Basic understanding of Topographic Mapping and/or Route Surveys.
3. Basic understanding of field surveying and data collection techniques.
4. Basic understanding skills in all related CAD software(s).
5. Basic knowledge of local, State and County laws governing platting and/or GDOT Survey Manual.
6. Basic communications and relationship building skills.
7. Basic technical writing skills.
8. When required, work nights and weekends projecting a high level of flexibility.
9. Basic understanding of SEI CAD standards and/or GDOT Electronic Data Guidelines (EDG).
10. Basic understanding of SEI surveying policies and procedures.
11. Basic understanding of SEI safety policies and procedures.
12. Additional duties as assigned.

Valid Georgia Driver's License, ability to pass a Security Background check, basic knowledge of various survey procedures.   Various related CAD skills, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Minimum 2 years surveying field experience preferred.
