An Instrument Operators primary responsibility is the support of a Survey Party Chief through efficient project production in the field. Must be a self-motivated individual that works well in a team-oriented environment.  

1. Excellent understanding of Boundary resolution and associated research.
2. Excellent understanding of Topographic Mapping.
3. Excellent Route Surveying knowledge.
4. Excellent in all related surveying instruments, data collectors and other peripheral surveying tools.
5. Ability to perform independently of Party Chief as project may require.
6. Excellent client skills understanding that everyone we meet may be a potential client.
7. Excellent communications and relationship building skills.
8. When required, work overtime, third shifts and out of town projecting a high level of flexibility.
9. Present yourselves as professionals at all times.
10. A thorough understanding and regular/daily implementation of SEI surveying policies and procedures.
11. A thorough understanding and regular/daily implementation of SEI safety policies and procedures
12. Error free data, eliminating the need to "Go back"
13. Keep your work truck stocked with the required tools at all times.
14. Excellent understanding of and ability to create field sketches and notes.
15. Anticipate how, when, and where Crew Chief needs assistance.
16. Accurately record time spent on each task each day.
17. Additional duties as assigned.

Valid Georgia Driver's License with a good driving record, ability to pass a Security Background check, base knowledge of various survey procedures.   3-5 years of experience required.  Desire to gain additional knowledge and training
